🏡 KALLISABA HOLIDAY HOME HOUSE RULES
That is, something for guests to read
The hosts of Kallisaba Holiday Home have always aimed to offer a homely and cozy stay.
Therefore, we hope our guests come to visit us as they would visit friends.
We take care that:
it is warm and cozy
no one goes hungry
you can sweat it out in the sauna
and pleasantly bubble away in the hot tub
As we host many guests, often in large groups – and sometimes people are already through the door before the hosts have time to react – we may not always manage to go over every small but important detail in person.
That’s why we’ve written down a bit of reading, just in case you need to stretch your legs or the training materials didn’t quite satisfy your appetite.
We firmly believe that when guest and host understand each other and aim to please one another, people leave Kallisaba with a smile and come back again.
And then it may very well happen that you even get a hug.
Estonians don’t always expect another Estonian to want to hug them – but experience shows that slowly people start to “get the hang of it”, and it’s not that scary after all.
😊 THE KALLISABA TEAM IS HAPPY WHEN…
🅿️ Parking
You park sensibly and leave room for others.
If no representative of the hosts is around at the moment, parking can be a bit creative, but for the sake of domestic peace we recommend keeping other guests in mind.
If you are among the first to leave an event, it’s wise to park outside the fence so no one accidentally blocks you in.
👟 Shoes
You take off your outdoor shoes in the hallway and place them on the shelf if possible.
This makes it more pleasant for everyone and keeps the floors clean.
If in the morning you discover you only have one “proper” sock left, Kallisaba slippers will come to the rescue.
🚪 Doors
When entering and leaving, you close the door behind you.
Open doors can be damaged by wind and invite all kinds of insects inside, who may not be keen to share their loot with you.
🍽️ Dishes
After meals, you return dirty dishes toward the small kitchen.
Sometimes this act can even earn you dessert.
What’s guaranteed, however, is the hosts’ gratitude and extra motivation to make the next meal especially good.
Win-win (two words).
🚬 Smoking
You smoke only in designated areas:
On the main house balconies and terrace
Directly in front of the exterior door
There is also a smoking shelter a few meters from the door, equipped with a large ashtray.
Please do not throw cigarette butts into nature or between terrace boards – we hope to continue enjoying nature here in the future as well.
💨 Smoke machines and hookahs
Smoke machines and hookahs are prohibited indoors at Kallisaba.
Using them may trigger the alarm and shut down the ventilation system.
Later, an invoice for filter replacement may also appear in your mailbox.
🧹 Cleaning and responsibility
“You make the mess, you clean it up.”
If the previous evening was a bit too fun and your body decides to return its creative output in the morning, please clean it up yourself.
The hosts will help with supplies but will not rush to clean up after you.
If a surprise is discovered after departure, €100 + state taxes will be added to the bill.
♻️ Waste and resources
You use resources responsibly and sort waste, bio-waste, and returnables into designated places.
If anything is unclear, the hosts will gladly help.
🚨 Evacuation routes
You use evacuation exits and outdoor staircases only for their intended purpose.
The staircases at both ends of the main house are primarily meant for leaving the building in case of serious trouble.
For everyday entry and exit, please use the main door.
🐕 Pets
Pets are not allowed in the main house.
Kallisaba is not an animal-unfriendly place – the name comes from two dogs (Kalli and Saba).
Please contact us in advance regarding pets so we can find a suitable solution for all guests.
🌙 Quiet hours
Sunday to Thursday: 22:00 – 06:00
Friday and Saturday: 24:00 – 07:00
As there is a neighbor just beyond the fence and Kallisaba is naturally acoustically generous, we kindly ask that music be kept at a reasonable level during the night.
We know that hearing tends to worsen during a party and your favorite song might feel like it should reach all the way to Tapa – but let’s try to avoid a later phone call from the constable.
💚 FINAL WORD
Most likely you didn’t find anything new or frightening here.
All of this was written down mainly so you could have three minutes to yourself.
